MEN'S ARTISTIC
GYMNASTICS

Starting from the age of 6 and upward, our gymnasts start training and compete across six different apparatus: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar. Woking Gymnastics Club boasts a rich and storied legacy of nurturing some of the nation's most accomplished gymnasts.

Our early successes included athletes like Ross Brewer, a three-time British Champion and a two-time gold medallist at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Today, our Men's Artistic Squad continues to uphold this tradition of excellence, securing representation and medals at prestigious events such as the British and European Championships, Commonwealth Games, and World Championships.

Moreover, Woking Gymnastics Club takes pride in having several members of our boys' squad selected by British Gymnastics to join the National Squad in their respective age categories, demonstrating the depth of talent we cultivate.

CURRENT SQUAD

Entry into our squads is through selection only. Gymnasts are selected through our pre-school, after-school, and key steps classes. Our men’s artistic squad is broken down into 5 teams, who train anywhere between 6 – 27 hours per week.

CONGRATULATIONS!

British Senior, All-Round Champion, 2025

Jamie Lewis, made history by winning the Senior Men’s All Around title — the first time Woking has held this title since 1996. Jamie also claimed gold as Senior Pommel Horse Champion and Senior High Bar Champion. His performance earned him a call-up to the GB squad, and he has already been pencilled in for the European Championships. BBC live broadcast noted the significance of Jamie’s achievements, reinforcing his return to the top tier of the sport.

On his victory Jamie said  “ I’m over the moon, really. I’m so happy with my performance and to come away with the win. It’s really cool to bring it home for Woking and hopefully I can inspire all of the younger generation coming up, to show them that they can do things like this too”
